Requirements for the creation of advertorials

Delivery of printing materialAdvertorials are treated in the Beobachter in the same way as advertising pages with regard to the supply of print material
FontsThe following fonts are part of the “Beobachter”-CI and may not be used in an advertorial: Recife, Teodor or Spezia
ColumnsA different column layout must be used than in the “Beobachter” (not 3 columns per page)
LayoutThe layout of the advertorial must be different from that of the “Beobachter”
ReviewThe advertorial is submitted to the editorial team for review before publication. If the design of the advertorial is too similar to the editorial pages of the “Beobachter”, the entire page must be given a different colour.
NoteThe advertorial must be easily legible and clearly distinguishable from its surroundings and labelled “PUBLIREPORTAGE”. The word “PUBLIREPORTAGE” is set off from the “Beobachter” in capital letters, 12 point, Helvetica Regular. On a left-hand page, the word is placed at the top left, on a right-hand page at the top right. As advertorials can change from a right-hand to a left-hand page, it must be possible for the “Beobachter” to move the note on the page by hand.
