Requirements for the creation of advertorials
  • The name and logo of the title and its sections may not be used.
  • The advertorial  must be clearly distinguishable from the editorial section in terms of typography and layout in order to be recognisable to the reader.
  • The advertiser must be clearly recognisable.
  • The advertorial must be labelled “PUBLIREPORTAGE” at the top left or right.
  • Before publication, we request a layout for approval by the publisher

Layout

Multi-page tip-ons can only be processed if they have a cross, central or roll fold. Zig-zag folds cannot be processed. The closed side of the tip-on must point towards the binding. In the event of any processing difficulties, completion of the magazine print run will take priority over that of the tip-on. Placement errors equating to 2 % of the total quantity provided are reserved (positional deviations, missing carrier or tip-on etc.).

Dynamic pricing offer

The annual turnover bonus is linked to a minimum turnover of CHF 30,000 (excluding classified ads and VAT).

Print material colours

To optimally reproduce advertisements, the printer must receive a binding Qualiproof in accordance with Fogra52 by the specified deadline.
The proof must have a Fogra media wedge on it. If no colour proof is available as a reference, your order will be printed in line with the PSO standard.

Data preparation
  • Data format: Delivery as a PDF file is considered standard and is preferable to delivery in other file formats.
  • Documents: PDF/X-4. Other documents on request (for the settings, please see http://www.pdfx-ready.ch).
  • Image resolution: Bitmap: 845 dpi, greyscale and colour: 300 dpi. Format: PDF. No RGB, DCS or OPI images.
  • Colour composition: All advertisements must be created using the Euroscale colours (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
  • Panorama pages: In the case of 2/1 pages with overflowing text, always take the gutter allowance into account or consult Ringier Advertising.

Dynamic Pricing

All clients and agencies have the opportunity o benefit from Dynamic Pricing. Here, a discount is granted for each booking, which is based on the following five criteria: Seasonality, Sales Development, Placement, Timing and Flexibility. In addition to the dynamic discount, clients and agencies continue to receive a final discount, which is based on the gross annual turnover. For the calculation of this discount, a uniform print closing discount scale applies.
