
WEMF Prediction Accuracy Check
For the second time, we have had our user predictions for digital campaigns reviewed by WEMF AG and are pleased with the positive results. This highlights our commitment to transparency and the highest quality in online targeting.
Anyone who books advertising on online platforms is dependent on the ads reaching the right target groups. This requires predictions about the users of these online platforms. These predictions can be used to target campaigns to specific groups. The WEMF Prediction Accuracy Check checks the online targeting predictions of a publisher or marketer and compares the results with the WEMF survey data. This checks whether the predictions are complete, reliable and as accurate as possible.
Blick
The predictions for the Blick.ch brand were audited by WEMF. The audited data is based on the in-house data solution Alloy. The variables analyzed were gender, age and interest in sport. The model performed very well both in terms of the congruence score of 92.0 points at national level and in the individual segments:
The result confirms the quality and transparency of Alloy‘s prediction model and the accuracy of our segments, including extrapolation.
Ringier Digital Network
The Ringier Digital Network was also certified by the WEMF. The platforms examined included bluewin.ch, cash.ch, Handelszeitung, Bilanz, Schweizer Illustrierte and Beobachter. The audited domains account for over 80 percent of ad impressions in the network. With a congruence score of 91.5, the high quality of the prediction data was also confirmed here. The Ringier Digital Network also achieved very good congruence scores for the segments:

Better Prediction Initiative (BPI)
With this initiative, the WEMF supports publishers, marketers and advertising clients in validating and optimizing their predictions. In this way, it creates transparency for the advertising market and helps to target potential customers. Those who participate in the BPI can prove to the market that their predictions meet high quality standards that have been confirmed by an independent and neutral body. The official labels «Better Prediction Initiative by WEMF» and «Prediction Accuracy Check» stand for tested quality in digital targeting.
