Requirements for the creation of advertorials

Publishing titleThe name and logo of the title and its categories may not be used
Typography & LayoutThe advertorial  must be clearly distinguishable from the editorial section in terms of typography and layout in order to be recognisable to the reader
ClientThe advertiser must be clearly recognisable
NoteThe advertorial must be labelled “PUBLIREPORTAGE” at the top left or right
AutorisationBefore publication, we request a layout for approval by the publisher

RestrictionsBound tip-ons on agreement only (stapling position).
LayoutMulti-page tip-ons can only be processed if they have a cross, central or roll fold. Zig-zag folds cannot be processed. The closed side of the tip-on must point towards the binding. In the event of any processing difficulties, completion of the magazine print run will take priority over that of the tip-on. Placement errors equating to 2 % of the total quantity provided are reserved (positional deviations, missing carrier or tip-on etc.).

Dummy versionThe final acceptance (good to go) requires a binding sample and a precise positional diagram to be provided on time.
Third-party adsThird-party ads with up to three pages will be charged at +30 % of the gross price for a 1/1 page per ad (irrespective of existing contracts and without agency commissions and annual sales bonuses). Four or more third-party ads on request.

  • Pallet weight: Maximum 650 kg
  • Pallet loading height: Maximum 120 cm
  • Materials: Reusable exchange pallets (Euro pallets, 800 x 1200 mm) → Avoid untreated solid wood; avoid pallets made from other materials.
Stacking
  • Stack loose, glued-in and bound-in supplements cover-side up
  • Piggyback and tip-ons cover-side down
Pallet labelling

The pallets must be labelled with the following information by attaching a pallet label to at least two sides:

  1. Delivery address
  2. Supplier & delivery date
  3. Client with contact person
  4. Item number (item code including issue number)
  5. Item description (type of specialty, publication title, publication date including calendar week)
  6. Number of items per pallet
  7. Number of items per type
  8. Number of pallets per type
