Swiss Media Companies Focus on a Shared Advertising Ecosystem: Expansion of OneID and OneDSP Continues
The Swiss media alliance OneLog is refocusing its strategy and strengthening its shared advertising ecosystem. The leading Swiss media companies TX Group, Ringier, NZZ, and CH Media reaffirm their commitment to collaboration and are jointly investing in the expansion of key components: OneID (an ID solution for digital advertising), OneDSP (Demand Side Platform, a platform for the automated purchase of advertising space), and OneDMP (Data Management Platform, a platform for managing and analyzing user data).
At the heart of this strategy is the further development of OneDSP, the booking platform for digital advertising in Switzerland launched in September 2025. OneDSP enables advertisers to efficiently, securely, and seamlessly access the premium inventory of Switzerland’s largest publishers—CH Media, NZZ, Ringier, and TX Group—in a centralized, transparent manner, independent of international tech platforms.
The expansion of OneID is also being accelerated to increase reach and integrate additional high-quality websites. The goal is to provide a total reach of over 3 million users across the advertising inventory of CH Media, NZZ, Ringier, TX Group, and other publishers integrated through their marketers. Integration into the Transparency and Consent Framework of IAB Europe ensures compliance with modern data protection standards.
With their shared advertising ecosystem, the partners prioritize a solution that offers advertisers simple, efficient, and privacy-compliant access to premium inventory across all major Swiss media companies. At the same time, the initiative addresses readers’ demands for greater data protection and transparency, placing these concerns at the center of the solution.
Instead of the originally planned shared login model (OneLog), the media companies are now fully focused on building this robust, independent advertising ecosystem.
As part of the strategic realignment, the Board of Directors of OneLog AG will be reconstituted in October 2025. The composition of the Board reflects the partnership among the participating media companies: Ringier is represented by Dr. Patrick Rademacher (Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, Member of the Executive Board of Ringier Media Switzerland) and Dr. Markus Wirth (from autumn, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Member of the Executive Board of Ringier Media Switzerland). Dr. Markus Wirth will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors of OneLog AG. For the TX Group, Thomas Spiegel (CEO of Goldbach Digital) and Dr. Tanja zu Waldeck (Chief Operating Officer of TX Group) will join. CH Media is represented by Thomas Wegmann (Head of Publishing, Member of the Executive Board of CH Media), and NZZ by Remo Baumeler (CEO of audienzz).
The alliance views this realignment as an important step to strengthen the competitiveness of the Swiss advertising market.
Dr. Markus Wirth, COO of Ringier Media Switzerland and Chairman of the Board of Directors of OneLog AG: “The media landscape is changing rapidly.
