An innovative concept for «L’illustré»: Maximum reach thanks to the integration of «TV8».

Since April 2023, «L’illustré» is being published with a renewed concept, bringing it even closer to its readers. For this purpose, «L’illustré» will rely on proven content, focus even more on French-speaking Switzerland and integrate the content of «TV8». As the new editor-in-chief, Laurence Desbordes implements the new concept.

Unique, dedicated and generous – the magazine that represents western Switzerland! «L’illustré» is a positive, benevolent and cross-generational weekly magazine that also offers spectacular photojournalism. The combination of information, entertainment and photography creates a unique position for the magazine, which has fostered close relations with its readers for over 100 years. This connection makes «L’illustré» the leading western Swiss news magazine in terms of readership figures.

Packaging of product samples for delivery
  • The closure seal should not be at the bottom (magazine base line) or on the bundle side of the finished product.
  • Plastic bags containing liquid: all bags must be packaged lined up, facing the same direction and upright! The individual rows and layers (max. 3 layers) must be separated by cardboard. Packaged on a longitudinal side, standing up in boxes. Do not package standing on the seal.
  • Plastic bags containing granules or powder: all bags packaged flat and lined up. To differentiate between the rows, the individual layers must be separated by solid cardboard and stabilised with diagonally positioned card (cross strips) at 15 cm intervals.
Material

The bag material must generally be tailored to the contents and comply with specified load requirements. Samples must not have any hazardous content or impair the processing or dispatch of a printed magazine. The publishing house must be relieved of all liability in relation to third-party claims resulting from the provision of a product sample. The publishing house must furthermore be compensated for any damages it incurs due to non-observance of the technical requirements. In the event of any processing difficulties due to poor quality bag material, completion of the magazine print run will take priority over gluing in the bags.

  • Missing tip-ons
  • Tip-ons glued in the wrong way round
