New in Handelszeitung and BILANZ

Homes is published twice a year as an insert in BILANZ and Handelszeitung. This elegantly designed magazine focuses on all aspects of real estate and good living: it features opulent photo-reports spotlighting stylish apartments, houses and gardens, interviews with designers, real estate experts and architects, well-founded, useful information about smart home products and the housing market, and inspiring ideas and tips for readers who love well-designed settings and like to surround themselves with beautiful things.

In the second part of Homes, readers will find current listings from the housing market, accompanied by plenty of pictures and all the relevant facts.

As of this year, we are now handling the layout and design of these pages in-house. The well-known online tool Immoscout24.ch is no longer active. So send us your images and text – we will take care of the rest until it’s ready to print.

Design guidelines:

  • Name and logo of the publication and its sections may not be used
  • The typography and layout must ensure that the reader can clearly distinguish between the advertorial and editorial content
  • The client must be clearly visible
  • The advertorial must feature the word ADVERTORIAL at the top right or top left
  • Prior to publication, we require a layout for approval by the publisher

Advertisment guidelines:

  • Advertisements taking up less than 1/4 of a page are framed for layouting purposes
  • For bleed-off, trim +5 mm applies on all 4 edges
  • Text and parts which may not be trimmed must be 8 mm from the edge
  • All colours (including chromatic colours) use a 4-colour base (euroscale: cyan, magenta, yellow and black)
  • Several colour advertisements can be placed on one page

Print material

Colours

  • In order to guarantee the best possible reproduction of the advertisement, the printer must receive a binding Qualiproof in accordance with the ISO Coated standard by the specified deadline. A Fogra media wedge must be present on the proof. If no colour proof is available as a reference, your order will be printed in line with the PSO standard.

Data preparation

  • Data format: Delivery as a PDF file is considered standard and is preferable to the delivery of other file formats.
  • Documents: PDF/X-4. Other documents on request (settings at http://www.pdfx-ready.ch).
  • Image resolution: Bitmap 845 dpi, greyscale and colour 300 dpi. Format: PDF, Tiff. EPS or JPEG, no RGB, DCSor OPI images.
  • Colour composition: All advertisements (i.e. digital data, proofs) must be created using the Euroscale colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black).
  • Panorama pages: For 2/1 pages with overflowing text, take the gutter allowance into account or consult Ringier Advertising.
